Ronald Zincone believes that education is essential and enriches one's life. As a student in continuing education since 1980, the instructor knows first-hand the value of lifelong learning. Ronald's goal as an instructor in photography is to teach his students in an interactive, hands-on environment while teaching "only what the student needs to know" to better their photographic skills and to decrease the learning curve. This is especially important in today's digital revolution which can be so overwhelming! The artist will share his knowledge of what he calls the "Basic Recipe" and therefore put you on the "fast track" to becoming a better photographer in just one easy lesson!

Timeline!
Award-winning photographer Ronald Zincone created a unique and specialized photo course in his "niche", astrophotography, for the Learning Connection in Providence, Rhode Island, an internationally famous adult educational institution. Zincone's course, "Introduction to Basic Night-Sky Photography" is the first of its kind to be taught at the Learning Connection and anywhere in Rhode Island. His introductory course is for aspiring astrophotographers, photographers, amateur astronomers or anyone who has an interest in astronomy, photography or in learning how to become an astrophotographer. This is a basic course which educates and instructs the student using classroom instruction and hands-on field trips to learn the basic level of astro imaging called 'camera-on-tripod astrophotography'. Astro imaging is a specialized and unique form of photography which deals with extreme low-light and long exposures. The artist has been pursuing celestial imaging for 14 years from his home in south county, Rhode Island.
In addition to teaching his astrophotography course, (now called 'Shooting the Night-Sky') ronald currently teaches several other photography courses in various locations in Rhode Island:
"Introduction to the Canon EOS digital camera: Parts 1-5"
"Outdoor Photography: Finding Your Niche"
"Digital Photography Made Easy!"
"Chasing the Light with your 35mm SLR digital camera"
"Guaranteed Better Photography"
"Introduction to the digital point & shoot camera"
"Marketing & Selling Your Photography"
"Introduction to Photographic Composition"
"Basic photoshop"
"Nature Photography Made Easy!"
