Ronald will teach you using hands-on instruction in an interactive and user-friendly environment (both in the classroom and with hands-on, one-on-one instruction sessions (indoors or outdoors). Ronald Zincone believes that education is essential and enriches one's life.  As a student in continuing education since 1980, the instructor knows first-hand the value of lifelong learning.  Ronald's goal as an instructor in photography is to teach his students in an interactive, hands-on environment while teaching "only what the student needs to know" to better their photographic skills and to decrease the learning curve. This is especially important in today's digital revolution which can be so overwhelming!  The artist will share his knowledge of what he calls the "Basic Recipe" and therefore put you on the "fast track" to becoming a better photographer in just one easy lesson!

As a "traveling teacher", ronaldzinconephotography teaches courses in photography, extreme weather, astronomy and astrophotography.  email ronald or look for his email newsletter on the 1st of every month to find out about current courses being offered as well as date, time and location.

Timeline!

Award-winning photographer Ronald Zincone created a unique and specialized photo course in his "niche", astrophotography, for the Learning Connection in Providence, Rhode Island, an internationally famous adult educational institution. Zincone's course, "Introduction to Basic Night-Sky Photography" was the first of its kind to be taught at the Learning Connection and anywhere in Rhode Island.  His introductory course, created in 2006, is for aspiring astrophotographers, photographers, amateur astronomers or anyone who has an interest in astronomy, photography or in learning how to become an astrophotographer. This is a basic course which educates and instructs the student using classroom instruction and hands-on field trips to learn the basic level of astro imaging called 'camera-on-tripod astrophotography'. Astro imaging is a specialized and unique form of photography which deals with extreme low-light and long exposures. The artist has been pursuing celestial imaging for 18 years from his home in south county,
Rhode Island.

Ronald has also taught the following courses at several educational institutions in Rhode Island, Connecticut and Massachusetts:

"Introduction to the Canon EOS DSLR: Parts 1-5"
"Choosing and Using Canon Lenses"
"Digital Photography Made Easy!"
"Learning to "see" in Photography"
"Guaranteed Better Photography"
"Introduction to the point & shoot digital camera"
"Introduction to Photographic Composition"
"Creative Hands-on Control with your 35mm digital camera"
"Understanding "Light" in Photography"
"Introduction to Landscape Photography"
"Nature Photography Made Easy!"
"Introduction to Astronomy" Parts 1-4
"Introduction to Basic Night-Sky Photography"
"New England Hurricanes: Past, Present, Future"
